Keyboard input

Use either a real keyboard for speed or the virtual keyboard for guided entry. Both write into the selected beat in the Melody table.

Real keyboard workflow

  1. Open the Melody tab and click the beat you want to edit.
  2. Use Arrow keys or Tab to move through the table.
  3. Type notes, rests, lyrics, or tabla search letters depending on the selected row.
  4. Use Backspace, Delete, copy, paste, undo, and redo to revise quickly.

Virtual keyboard workflow

  1. Click the keyboard icon in the right toolbar.
  2. Select a beat in the Melody table.
  3. Use Note, Ornaments, Dynamics, Beat, Avartan, or Symphony tabs.
  4. Pick octave or tabla variation when available.
  5. Click a virtual key to insert content into the selected beat.

Example

Use Player to view and play. Use Script to edit the Vishwamohini text, then return to Player to render your changes.
