Dynamics

Dynamics control note intensity. You can attach a numeric dynamic level to a note and fine-tune it with the Dynamics tab slider in the melody editor.

Script approach

Attach dynamics directly to a note with angle-bracket syntax in the same beat. The most direct format is <Note:Level>, where level is a number from 0 to 100.

[melody start]
[<S1:40>|R1|<G1:80>|M1][notations]
[melody end]

Melody table approach

  1. Open the Melody tab and select the beat that contains the note you want to shape.
  2. Open the virtual editor panel and switch to Dynamics.
  3. Move the dynamics slider to set the selected note level.
  4. Use Clear Note Dynamics to remove dynamics from that note.

Keyboard approaches

  • Real keyboard: type the dynamics in script form (for example <D1:65>) and render from Script to Player.
  • Virtual editor: select a note in Melody, then adjust it from the Dynamics tab slider for immediate visual feedback.

Example

Use Player to view and play. Use Script to edit the Vishwamohini text, then return to Player to render your changes.

Top bar Play All and Stop controls work with this example.
