Melody script structure at a glance
Vishwamohini scripts are block-based. You define each playable composition inside [melody start] and [melody end], then fill rows beat-by-beat using row tags.
[melody start]
This free text line works as description/notes between melody blocks.
[S1|R1|G1|M1][notations]
[Sa|Re|Ga|Ma][lyrics]
[D1|D2|T2|T1][tabla]
[melody end]
- Block boundaries: every playable block starts with
[melody start]and ends with[melody end]. - Description between melodies: plain text lines can be written between melody blocks to document context, lyrics meaning, or practice notes.
- Beat separator: use the pipe symbol
|to separate beats inside a row. - Avartan/row structure: each row represents one cyclic line across the avartan; keep beat counts aligned across related rows for clean playback and reading.
- Row tags: append a tag such as
[notations],[lyrics],[tabla],[theka], or[lehera]to define row behavior.
